Interested in Rusty Musicians? The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra is also presenting its second annual BSO Academy - an intense, week-long immersion experience with the Orchestra and Music Director Marin Alsop. The week (June 12-18, 2011) features side-by-side rehearsals with BSO musicians and the Music Director, daily sessions of sectionals, master classes, enrichment classes and lectures by BSO musicians and local healthcare professionals and opportunities for private lessons and chamber music. The week culminates in a finale concert with Academy participants and BSO musicians, led by Maestra Alsop on-stage at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.
