CK Dexter Haven, who writes an informative Blog entitled “All is Yar,” has a post today about new significant musician appointments by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The Phil’s management hasn’t confirmed the story (it rarely does, possibly because these sorts of appointments involve a probationary period) but Mr. Haven seems to be well plugged in to the orchestra and his previous posts on similar stories have been spot on.
