In a time when so many orchestras are foundering — e.g., Philadelphia Orchestra, Colorado Symphony, Louisville Orchestra — it's nice to hear that musicians and management of the Buffalo Philharmonic have ratified a new five-year contract. That comes soon after Music Director JoAnn Falletta (who once led the Long Beach Symphony) also agreed to a five-year extension of her contract. DETAILS
