Consider this one of the first major ramifications of the financial crisis: the Pasadena Symphony has cancelled its November 15 and December 6 concerts due, primarily, to dramatically diminished revenues from donors. Traditionally, ticket sales account for 30-40 percent of revenues and the loss of two major donors earlier this year was a major factor in the decision.
